Starting at 7:45 pm, Karin’s BodyBeat intro will turn participants into a musical instrument. Feel the energy and power of rhythm through clapping, stomping, stepping, tapping, patting, snapping and vocalization. Your circulation is energized, your brainpower sharpened, your coordination improved, your spirit uplifted. You feel connected to yourself and others.
Moving together in rhythm revives your primal, rhythmic self. Most of all it’s just downright, upbeat fun!
Karin will sensitively guide participants to embody simple patterns that emerge into a whole rhythmic piece. You hear, feel, express and BECOME the music! BodyBeats uses a mixture of structure to awaken your innate sense of rhythm and improvisation to support your creativity. BodyBeats is empowering, uplifting and anyone can do it! All you need is YOU!
Please dress comfortably and bring comfy shoes for stomping (not flip flops). It’s best for shirts and pants to have sufficient coverage for light patting on the thighs and upper chest.
