Event Description
WHAT: A Review of Chansons d’Amour: Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Gilles Vigneault, Georges Moustaki, Felix Leclerc, Charles Aznavour, Francis Cabrel, Jean Ferrat, etc. Hosted in English and French and sung in French, this show is for non-Francophones and Francophones alike. All ages welcome. Cash bar and food available for purchase. Handicap access. Dancing.
WHEN: Saturday May 9, 2015. Doors 6pm (6pm-11:00pm, continuous admission)
Early show 6:30pm-8pm, no intermission. Late show 9pm-11:00pm: a reprise with variations, singalongs, instrumentals, and improvised passages.

Francois is an accomplished musician with some 40 years of experience as a performer and musical instructor, and has gathered his practical experience throughout Europe, the United States and Canada, and has performed in bands and as a soloist. He teaches music and the techniques of playing traditional French Musette to select students and furthers the preservation and cultivation of the exquisite flair of this unique style of music covering the time period 1910 to 1955.
Rejean Bussieres, voice, guitar
Rejean also has 40 years of musical experience in Quebec, British Columbia, and France. He is an outstanding humanitarian local francophone artist who has shared his talent and passion in all the Cabarets, at local care homes and schools, and for special occasions such as Bob Marley tributes, the Diner en blanc, etc. His bilingual repertoire of 700 songs includes his compositions for compassionate purposes.
