Event Description
The Nouveau Cool is a Victoria BC based jazz fusion band formed in 2019 and led by bassist Steve Duben. Featuring two outstanding guitarists Cliff Maddix and Neil Taylor paired with a driving rhythm section, this quartet plays an eclectic mix of material by contemporary artists including the Fearless Flyers and the Steve Gadd Band along with original compositions by group members. Touching on funk, blues, rock, and latin, the Nouveau Cool offers a contemporary take on jazz for the Vancouver Island music scene.
