Event Description

With a stunning backdrop of Willows Beach, these outdoor concerts gather the community to celebrate music and the arts. Our concerts highlight local musicians with emerging artists as opening acts. Presented by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture.

BLACK ANGUS
Black Angus offers a variety of material from foot-stomping folk songs to poignant lyrical poetry. Their variety of ensembles, centred around the duo of Gareth Hurwood and Alex MacCuaig, offer great stage presence and a camaraderie that is instantly communicated to audiences. Traditional & contemporary Irish, acoustic roots, Americana, West Coast Celtic, blues, and old-time are all part of the Black Angus sound.

Bring a picnic? Ride your bike? Help to keep our concerts in the park green.

Family Friendly, visit the Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People tent for children’s crafts.
